Richie Mills

Richie Mills is a communications and marketing guru who loves to tell stories. He's worked in a variety of industries, from frozen yogurt to the NBA, and he's always found a way to use his words to connect and inspire people. Originally from Ghana, Richie moved to the U.S. when he was 12 years old.

Today, Richie is the Director of Corporate Communications at Bethany Children's Health Center. He's responsible for leading an award-winning team that markets and promotes the hospital better than most Fortune 500 companies.

Richie is also a goofball. He loves to make people laugh, and he's always up for a good time. But don't let his sense of humor fool you. He's a professional who takes his work very seriously and, at times, can come across as stoic.

In addition to his day job, most students at the University of Oklahoma and people around Oklahoma City know Richie as @richhonesty, one of the best photographers in the state. His natural, sharp, and eye-catching portraits have put him among the very best photographers.

When he's not working, Richie enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Kristina, and two children, Kodi and Jackson. He's also a huge Lakers and Manchester United fan. He takes inspiration from the late great Kobe Bryant.
If you're looking for someone who can tell a good story and connect with people on a personal level, then Richie is your guy. In short, he's a marketing genius with a big heart.

How did you meet Rodney and/or Tiffani

I met Rodney when he became the advisor for the Xi Delta chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. I was young and had a "Sigma against the world" mentality. Rodney's goal was to make me more diplomatic and to keep the peace with other NPHC fraternities and sororities. Did it work? No! But I learned something from Rodney that I still use in my career today, which is that "peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding." I appreciate him for that. As for Tiffani, I met her shortly after and have always loved and appreciated how she carries herself with grace, humility, and swagger. She is a joy to be around. The true definition of a queen.
